WRITING : UNIT 1

 

 

We did the writing of Unit 1, which is a model of A´s writing for and against the essay, which addressed the topic of studying abroad, with a beginning, advantages, disadvantages and a conclusion. Exercise 7 was very difficult for me because the response possibilities were so varied.

 

  In this type of writing it is important to take into account the connectors, which are of two types, of addition and if the contrast connects opposite ideas.

 We have practiced the reading model a for and against essay making a summary of the text on page 164, which deals with the advantages and disadvantages of the preservation of old buildings, I found it to be a very easy text to understand and I had no problem in summarize it.

Writing about should all students be allowed to go out of school during the break recces?

We have corrected the last writing that we did, evaluating according to the content and form parameters, we had to rate 0, 0.5 or 1 point the complete and relevant information, text structure, connection of ideas, presentation, varied and appropriate vocabulary, punctuation marks, spelling, grammar rules, use of verb forms and sentence structure and the sum of everything was the note.

I have evaluated myself in a 4´5 out of 10.
